having lower dust collection efficiencies, this cyclone is an  effective
solution  for   stringent   particulate   pollution  control  and  material
recovery.

With increasing gas volumes it is difficult to attain the  desired  dust
collection efficiency in a sinlge cyclone construction.

United can configure high efficiency cyclones in to various  versions,
Twin (Two cyclones ), quad (Four Cyclone) and  double  quad (Eight
cyclone) with  the  help  of  computer aided  simulations  to  achieve
higher effectiveness.

   Working Principle
  Collection of dust in a cyclone seperator is  based on  the  action  of
  inertial (centrifugal) forces upon dust particles.

  Cyclone separators are normally used  for  the  collection  of  coarse
  dust particles. The dusty air is introduced  in  the  cyclone seperator
  from  the  top  through   the   inlet  pipe  which  is  tangential  to  the
  cylindrical portion of the cyclone. Thus  the gases  move  downwards
  in  whirling  motion  forming  a  peripheral  vertex  and  giving  rise  to
  centrifugal forces, resulting in throwing of dust  particles  towards the
  wall of the cyclone  and  moving  downwards  in  to the  hopper.  The
  gases  after  reaching  the  end  of  the conical  portion  changes  its
  direction and moves  upwards  towards  the outlet  forming  an  inner
  vertex. Due to this upward movement of gases  against  gravity  more
  dust particles are separated and fall into the subsequent removal.

   Features
  This  equipment  is  used for  control  high  concentration.  The  dust
  laden seperator  under  pressure  or  suction. The dust particles  are
  seperated due to the  whirling  action and  vertex  formation  and  are
  collected in the hopper. To accomodate more  volume  of  gases and
  higher efficiency of dust separation, milticlones are also provided.
